A strong connection with FILMETS
In 2024, the FILMETS Badalona Film Festival honored Marc Orts for his career and contribution to the world of film sound. On that occasion, he also participated in the Filmets Campus session, sharing his experience with students from Catalan film schools. Committed to training new generations of professionals, he teaches at the Escola Superior de Cinema i Audiovisuals de Catalunya (ESCAC), the Bande à Part Film School in Barcelona, and the ECAM in Madrid, in addition to giving master’s classes and specialized lectures. Argelich has also been a producer and coordinator of documentary co-productions at 3Cat and is currently the director of the BCN Sports Film Festival. Additionally, he is a programmer and collaborates with other festivals such as the FICVI in Vila-seca, the Subtravelling International Short Film Fest BCN-SEOUL, and the Mostra Internacional de Curtmetrat-ges CurtÀneu.
